THE PROBLEM: World-wide rhino's are facing extinction as a result of the cruel and senseless slaughter for rhino horn

OUR SUPPORT:
In an effort to save these animals for next generations to enjoy, Rhino Art aims to educate children around the world about importance of protecting and nurturing these rhinos. In Africa, we run education programs at schools, where each child is encouraged to create an art piece on the rhino theme, recording their message of rhino conservation.

OUR AIM: To educate children on the value of having living rhinos for our children and grandchildren to enjoy, thus reducing the number of rhinos being killed, and growing rhino numbers so that rhino can live freely in the designated wildlife areas.

THE BENEFIT: Children get educated on the value of nature conservation; they also get to enjoy a soccer game and some fun around the rhino theme. Long term we believe there will be a new nation of people proud to have a healthy wildlife population. We want to save the rhinos and other animals so the next generations can enjoy them as much as we do.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: Donations support the sponsorship of a rural school to do the rhino art program. You can either make a cash donation or you can get your local school to participate and attach the donation to each entry. This money then goes towards the project and the art gets added to over 120 000 pieces that are used to influence government policy and make the changes that are necessary.

ALL funds go towards the project, with only a marginal percentage being allocated towards administration costs. Most of the people driving the project behind the scenes are volunteers. This means your money really does make a difference...
