General information

Acorn Guest Farm is situated just off the R33 Carolina, 22 km from the N4 - 190km from Pretoria, 250 km from Jhb, and 170 km from Nelspruit.
It is the perfect getaway for family or friends. During your stay in the old, beautiful farm house, you will enjoy the comfort and style of relaxed living as you breathe in the peaceful surrounding areas of the farm and explore the grasslands, pans, rare birds species, poplar woods and river. Besides the enjoyment of quiet nature, Acorn Guest Farm has a spacious and open yard and offers various activities for young and old, including hiking and bicycle trails, horseback riding, fishing, and a games room with table tennis, wii and boardgames.

Acorn Guest Farm is a self-catering unit that can host 10 people comfortably. It consists of 4 bedrooms: Room 1 - 1 double bed; Room 2 - 2 single beds; Room 3 - 1 double bed + 2 single beds; Room 4 - 1 queen size bed. A 5th study can also sleep 2 extra people on a sleeper couch if necessary.
There are 2 bathrooms: Bathroom 1- Bath, toilet and basin; Bathroom 2- Separate and private toilet, separate and private shower+ basin and separate and private basin.

Other facilities include: Wide "stoep" , large living room with full DSTV, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, outdoor braai area and games room, as mentioned above.

We can also host corporate functions and/or meetings for smaller groups - up to 24 people.

Ideal midway stop on route to the Kruger National Park or Swaziland and close to other tourist attractions e.g. Dullstroom and Badplaas.

R300 per person per night
R200 per child aged 2 - 12
free - children under 24 months

Activities:
All activities are free, except horseback riding:
Horse, saddle and bridle hire (unguided) - R100 per person per day ( You have to be an experienced horse back rider for this option )
Guided- R350 ( includes horse and equipment, saddling of horses and 90 mins of riding time)
