Warrior Sports Academy

General information

A family run and orientated Martial Arts and Fitness Academy. We offer the following classes: Muaythai, Boxing, Krav Maga Self-defence, MMA, Wrestling, Kickboxing and Boxing and X-fit Bootcamp.

Warrior Sports has clubs in the following areas:

van der Bijl Park
Jeffreys Bay

The Centurion branch has a fantastic venue of 1300 sq meters, a fully equipped Martial arts facility with a Boxing Ring, MMA Cage, suspended punch bags, Rubber and Tarpaulin covered floors. The Warrior Xfit Bootcamp gym, fully kitted out with rigs, rings, kettle bells, plyo boxes... ... everything that any student would want in a gym.

The gym caters for children and adults of all ages starting from 4 years old.

Warrior Sports Academy is run by the Clarke Family, Trevor and his wife Christel, son Brett and his wife Geraldine.

Centurion Chief instructor is Brett Clarke with full time instructors and coaches - Geraldine Clarke, Lucky Mashego, Samkelo Fanie, Henri Scholtz, Ryan Velthuysen and Simonne Townsend.

Part time Instructors / coaches: Kirk and Sven.

Brett has won numerous Kickboxing and Muaythai titles local as well as internationally- and is Thai Education dept qualified, Krav-Maga instructor.

Lucky is also holder of various local Kickboxing and Muaythai titles.

Samkelo is a professional boxer cum coach.

Kirk has also achieved various Kickboxing and Muaythai titles.

Christel is the P.R.O. for Warrior Sports - and WTKA low kick light world champ for 2008.

Trevor is the old man in the gym, started M/A in 1970 and has never really
stopped.

Christelle Withfield is the admin co-ordinator for Warrior Sports.
