The Venom Pit is one of Africa's largest snake parks situated 10km's from East London. Home to Afrca's most deadly snakes as well as the worlds rarest. Our facility boasts a clean, fresh approach to the husbandry and care of our animals. Our friendly and efficient staff are there to educate and entertain our visitors about these amazing, fear inciting animals through interactive snake demonstrations and personal interaction. Our premises includes a kiddies party venue, interactive touch farm for all ages and walks of life as well as a corporate training and function facility. The park is also home to East London's first exclusive reptile petshop focusing on the retail of pet animals and accesories. Owners, Shaun Bouchier and Juan Marillier cumulatively have over 45 years experience in husbandry, care and trade of reptiles and warmly welcome all to their park.
