Just an hour from Durban lies Pietermaritzburg and the newly launched creative showcase, House of Heart Emporium.
Started by Nada Kooy and Ronel du Preez in March of 2013, the space, as the name suggests, is a celebration of handmade items and gives both established and emergent talent a marketplace.
The selection ranges from art and clothes to gifts, with some of our finest local talent on display.
There is a café, nursery and children’s play area where you can relax, as well as a market focusing on local products and fresh produce on the last Saturday of each month.
