DOTS - Occupational Therapy for Children

General information

Does your child struggle to manage everyday activities? If you recognise the following problems, it may indicate that he or she may benefit from occupational therapy.
• Clumsiness and poor balance
• Delayed development
• Difficulty with handwriting or colouring in
• Problems learning to dress or use cutlery
• Over- or under sensitivity to touch, movement or sounds
• Fear of swings or other playground equipment
• Difficulty with learning new skills such as cycling
• Difficulty with building blocks and completing jigsaw puzzles
• Constant activity such as jumping, fidgeting and spinning around
• Lethargy (Under responsiveness and lack of energy)
