The essence of Tulbagh is in the mute wisdom of gnarled old oaks and the jagged wrinkles of the infinitely older and wiser Witzenberg Mountains. This might be true for the folk in the town but for us it is in the amazing sunsets, the brilliant clear starlight skies, the snow capped mountains and majestic waterfalls accompanied by roaring fires in winter and the cooling down with sundowners in the Jacuzzi in the heat of summer.
