Far Horizon Lodge

General information

Far Horizon Lodge is situated on a small holding 1.5km inland of Port Edward, in the village of Banners Rest. Our lodge offers guests, spacious 1,2, & 3 bedroom apartments, comfortably furnished, all with living area, fully equipped kitchens, some with private veranda's and others leading onto a large common veranda. All apartments are surrounded by large tropical gardens; the coffee shop offers light meals and really good coffee, with the jungle gym and play area for children of all ages, it is an ideal area for parents to relax whilst still watching their children play. For the adults there is the restaurant area with rock pool, ideal for those long summer nights while sipping cocktails one can dangle their feet in the warm waters of the rock pool. The restaurant will provide guests with an ideal place to relax, enjoy rugby matches on large screen, whilst the children will be occupied with playing in the kiddies area in complete safety. External bhoma areas provide the perfect place for families to enjoy with plenty of seating. Parking is plentiful and there are tours to the free range farming area, where children/adults can see how pigs, and chickens should live.
