Gaby Edelson started Rubber Duckies Swim School five years ago. Her passion and the drive of her team of teachers is to help children and adults become the best they can be in the water.
Rubba Duckies is situated 10 minutes away from Broadacres, Fourways. With three indoor heated pools, it makes for convenient professional swimming all year round. The school’s friendly and accredited teachers follow a structured programme to get your child water safe and teach professional stroke grounding.
Children can start lessons as early as 4 months to become water safe in the Dinky Ducklings pool. These lessons are for children up to the age of three. Starting children young is a great way for them to get comfortable in the water and if you don't want to get in yourself you don't have to.
After that, they move on to the Paddle Duckies pool, particularly when they can swim without assistance. At this stage, the children learn stroke grounding and it gives your little ones the correct techniques that will benefit them for life.
Diving Ducks - in the large pool we offer stroke correction and further swimming training for children and adults.
