Deutsche Schule Hermannsburg (DSH or HMB) is a German international school in Hermannsburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It serves Grade levels kindergarten through Grade 12. It was established in 1856, making it the oldest private school in the province. Hermannsburg has English, as its main language of instruction and all students are required to take German classes. isiZulu is also offered in the High School, as a second language alongside Afrikaans. Music and sport are other focus areas, besides the academic programme.
There are three boarding facilities in the school and they are available for students in Grades 8-12. The Männerheim, in the south of the campus, serves boys in Grades 8 -12. Mädchenheim, in the northwest of the campus, serves girls in Grades 8 and 9, while Neues Mädchenheim, in the east of the campus, serves girls in Grades 10-12
