visual art James Nilsen-Misra is a visual artist born in Port Elizabeth in 1981, now based in Cape Town. His works have been exhibited at Everard Read Gallery, Ebony Curated, Rust En Vrede Gallery, ABSA gallery and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum.
Filmmaking production design A qualified Production Designer, James has worked as props master for feature films films & television commercials including Grosser Freund, Kleiner Freund 2017, Cinderella 2016, 24 Hours To Live 2016 & Origins 2017.
illustration James received a national diploma in illustration from NMMU. He works on ad hoc illustration projects, often film related.
