General information

Nico van der Merwe (an ex-Colonel of the South Africa Police Service), the sole owner of the company and has extensive knowledge in combating of crime as he served in the SA Police Service for 16 years, 8 of which were spent at the Johannesburg Flying Squad.

After his career in the SA Police Service he established the U-nic brand and operated a successful security company in the South of Johannesburg for 10 years.

As a result of his previous ties with the SA Police and excellent reputation he continues to maintain good working relationships with the members of the force, he would like to use his knowledge and expertise to provide security to various businesses and residents of the area.

Nico has a unique and proactive approach to crime prevention, and intends to secure the area in which he resides and o assist to protect and serve the local community by rolling out the following services:

* Alarm installations, all repair and maintenance
* Residential and commercial guarding services
* Highly visible mounted and K-9 units
