General information
Zorgfontein Eco & Wildlife Reserve is a game farm. We breed successfully with game and horses. Breeding and protecting various antilope species, as well as breeding and training Cape Riding Horses is our main goal.
Game Farming is our passion, and being in the industry for many years, it is our pleasure to give guests an insight in how we work daily on our farm. We focus on agri-tourism. We are proud of our lion project, and will take guest along to see the feeding of the animals or join in on our training programs.
Our Catwalk (walk with the lions) is one of the pleasures we like to share with guests. We raised the cubs and give them daily the opportunity to experience the wild and pleasure of the farm.
Zorgfontein is the home to a number of animals such as red and black impala, giraffe, kudu, eland, waterbuck, zebra, springbuck, blue wildebeest and bontebok and now also, buffalo.
