E-Waste Africa, a level 1 BBBEE company, can offer corporates and Government institutions a number of options for lamp waste disposal: onsite storage, collection, crushing and the heart of our business “lamp recycling”.
Fluorescents are widely used as an efficient and green lighting solution. Unfortunately the improper disposal of these lights releases hazardous mercury gas into our environment. Companies are required by law to dispose of their lights properly.
Our services take liability away from our clients with our own transportation, containers, and the recycling of the bulbs.
E-Waste Africa is the first South African company to have officially commissioned the award winning Balcan MP8000 bulb recycling plant in 2014.
E-Waste Africa also officially received its Environmental Waste license from the Department of Environment making it the first and only legally compliant operational recycling facility in South Africa.
