Louna's Pianos

General information

Lona Davis the founder of Lonas Pianos has always had a great interest in pianos and learnt to play at an early age. She became a very accomplished pianist and actually broadcast on Young South Africa in her early days. She was a teacher of piano for many years and the majority of her pupils achieved excellent results. She was continually being asked to find instruments for the pupils and eventually started to keep a small selection of pianos on hand. Those were fully restored by experienced piano technicians and piano tuners. Lona then opened a small workshop in a garage in the 1980s which has now grown into a small factory, and 3 showrooms in the KZN Midlands, Piggly Wiggly and Midrand JHB.
