Seeing the burden that orphaned children in our communities have to carry - facing hardship and hunger without parental guidance caused by the devastating effects that the HIV/AIDS pandemic has on our society; Seni decided that something needed to be done to conquer the situation and also change the statistics in the Valley of the 1000 Hills where she grew up. IMBELEKO focuses on education and skills development, providing a holistic package comprising of an academic program, moral and spiritual guidance, health care and creating a sense of belonging.
IMBELEKO's vision is to see young orphaned children realise their impossible dreams, which would have been deemed impossible by:
o their families inability to help them to attain their goals; or
o the children themselves not having the relevant mentors to guide them
