General information

YDP consists of three divisions:

1. Internship & Career training
Internship / Professional Career Training USA: For all full-time students, either during or post their full-time studies, as well as graduates and young professionals to work in a position in America that furthers their career, thereby gaining practical experience for up to 18 months and so building the foundation of their future career, all on legal J1 work visas. YDP’s speciality is the hospitality industry.

Internship Australia: A unique opportunity for graduates in the farming and agricultural industry to spend up to 12 months as an intern, gaining priceless international work experience.

Teach Asia: An affordable programme, rich in culture allowing qualified TEFL teachers with tertiary education the opportunity to work and travel the Far East.

2. Au Pairing
Au Pairing in the USA & Europe: We place mainly young women in au pair positions across the USA as well as in Europe. Working within strict guidelines and only with professional au pair organisations, our applicants have a secure home away from home and earn valuable foreign currency.

3. Work & Travel programmes
Work & Travel USA: YDP offers seasonal jobs for full-time university students during their summer holidays as pedi-cab drivers, ski lift operators, and various positions in the hospitality industry, from two to four months, with a legal J1 work visa.

Summer Camp USA: YDP has evolved as industry specialists in placing young South Africans at various summer camps as camp counsellors for eight to 15 weeks during the American summer (June to August).

Work & Travel Israel: This is a wonderful cultural experience and YDP can place clients on various kibbutzim’s all over Israel for three to six months.
