General information
THINK is a non-profit research organization founded in 2013 by Dr. Kristina Wallengren in order to conduct first class clinical research aimed to alleviate suffering from Tuberculosis and HIV. We collaborate with academic institutions, government funded consortia, and pharmaceutical companies to discover new tools to improve diagnosis and treatment.
We see ourselves as a values-based organisation. We care about the outcomes of our research and are passionate about wanting to improve medical care on a national and global scale and are fortunate to being involved in policy changing work. We also care about the individuals we are and recognize the importance of teamwork. We aspire to values such as responsibility, integrity and passion.
About 20 researchers and staff are currently employed across a number of clinical trial sites in KwaZulu-Natal.
