TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This competition is organised by Ceres Fruit Juices (Pty) Ltd (the “Promoter”) and is open to all South African citizens residing in the Republic of South Africa – (a valid South African identity document is required), except directors, members, business partners, employees, sales agents, advertising agency staff, advisors or consultants of the Promoters, its associated companies, service providers and the immediate family members of all the foresaid (including, but not limited to, spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters).

2. This competition is open from 03/06/2013 to midnight 31/08/2013 which is the closing date. Any entries received after midnight on the last day will not be valid and not be considered.

3. By entering the competition all participants and prize winners agree to be bound by terms and conditions of the competition, which will be interpreted by the Promoters in their sole, absolute and unfettered discretion.

4. The competition will be overseen and certified as set out in the Regulations to the Consumer Protection Act of 2008 of South Africa where after the Promoters’ decision regarding all matters relating to the competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. To enter the competition, the participant must SMS the unique code to 38598 to see if they have won a prize.

6. The Promoters reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is in breach of these terms and conditions. Failure by the Promoters to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

7. A random computer draw conducted by the Promoter or a person appointed by the Promoter will take place on 28/06/2013 for the 2000 movie tickets only. A second random computer draw will take place on 02/09/2013 for the 1000 stress minions and 500 key rings. Only the winner / s will be notified by telephone no later than 48 hours after the draw, and thereafter confirmed in writing. The Promoters will endeavour to contact the winner on the telephone number and address provided. If, however, they cannot be reached after 6 attempts have been made during business hours within a period of 72 hours for any reason whatsoever, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the competition rules.

8. The prize to be won in terms of this competition is 2000 (500 x4tickets) 3D Movie Tickets for Despicable Me 2, redeemable at any Ster Kinekor, 1000 Stress Minions and 500 Minion Key rings. [Hereafter referred to as “the prize”].
9. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and not transferable. All winners will have to claim their prize within 5 working days of the draw having taken place and at that time identify themselves with a bar coded South African ID book. The drawn winners, once contacted, will have 5 working days to forward all the required documentation to the Promoters (provide their addresses where the prizes are to be delivered) or else face disqualification, requiring the redraw of new winners with the same prize redemption timelines applying as described above. The winners will sign a receipt for any prize received and failure to claim the prize or a refusal or inability to comply herewith will disqualify the winner and a new winner will be drawn in their place at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to request that images taken of the winner or staff be used for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without any further remuneration being made payable to the winner, which request the winner may decline.

11. Some or all of the winners of the competition may be invited to endorse, promote and/or advertise the products of the Promoter, which would allow the Promoter and its representatives to photograph and film the winner for promotional purposes related to the competition and the relevant products, without payment or additional compensation for a period of 12 months determined as from 02 September 2013. It is recorded that the winner(s) has/have the right to decline such an invitation.

12. Winners must allow 8 -10 weeks from the date of being contacted for the prize to be delivered. Delivery will take place on any day between 8am to 5pm.

13. The Promoter shall have the right to terminate the competition immediately and without notice for any reason beyond its control requiring this. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter, its agents and staff.

14. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules.
