Join us for a tour of our 350 tonne capacity modern cellar and indulge in a premium wine sip-and-swirl. All our grapes are picked by hand under the careful nose of winemaker, Wynand Grobler. Our winemaking philosophy is to use the finest quality grapes with minimal interference in the cellar.

Grab a bite at Paulina’s bistro style restaurant, which is open for lunch seven days a week. Be warmed by the large open-hearth fire in winter or opt for al fresco dining with vineyard views from the deck in summer. Choose between full and half portions crafted from local fresh produce and paired with a recommended Rickety Bridge wine.

ACCOMMODATION

Wake up to delicious country fare and spectacular mountain and vineyard views. Stay over in our four-star luxuriously refurbished Manor House, which dates back to 1797 when the original owner, Paulina de Villiers, was granted the land. Alternatively, relax and rejuvenate with a stay at our four-star Basse Provence Country House, in all of its Cape Dutch glory, situated just over the river.

Rickety Bridge offers you everything you could dream of for your unforgettable winelands wedding. Host your ceremony outdoors on the lawns of our Manor House, providing magnificent views for a memorable occasion. Afterwards, dine and dance the night away in our charming Cape Dutch banqueting hall, converted from the original barrel maturation cellar into a beautiful venue. We are also able to host conferences and other corporate events.
