InnovUS Company Information
General information
Innovus is responsible for facilitating technology transfer, entrepreneurial support and development, and innovation management at Stellenbosch University.
We have the full mandate to manage the protection and commercialisation of the university’s innovation and intellectual property portfolio through patenting, licensing and the formation of spin-out companies.
Through our LaunchLab business incubator, we offer various services to and opportunities for entrepreneurs. In addition to this our equity holding in the Innovus group of companies is a valuable asset for the university.
The university’s short courses and copyright division is facilitates the registration, promotion and delivery of short course education at Stellenbosch University.
The company has also been tasked with managing and taking Stellenbosch University's soccer to a next level.
