General information
uThando leNkosi is an NGO dedicated to loving and caring for children in significant need. We currently have one ‘home’ or place of safety based in Diep River, but hope to have many more. These are places of security and stability, where children can receive the love and care they desperately need.
uThando leNkosi is made up of a group of young, passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We come from different backgrounds, cultures, churches and even different countries but, we all share a passion for living for God and loving people – especially little ones – and these passions unify us.
We at uThando leNkosi believe that the best place for a child to grow up is within a family and so we accept children on a short-term basis of up to 6 months while either permanent (family) homes are made available, or the situation from which the child has been removed is no longer a threat
