General information
Since 1801 Miko has produced award-winning coffee in Europe. We bring this heritage to South Africa and beyond, offering world-class coffee machines of a variety of sizes for hospitality and personal use as well as the finest coffee beans sourced from around the world.
We are a pioneer of Fairtrade-certified coffee. Puro, our ethically sourced blends
contributes 2% of our international turnover to the World Land Trust who actively buys and protects rainforests in South America on our behalf. Puro is the only Fairtrade coffee brand that works with the World Land Trust and so far we have saved 2778 hectares or 3347 soccer fields.
Furthermore Puro South Africa is responsible for starting and then helping to fund the Trees4Schools trust – a local project that goes out and plants trees and veggies in local schools while helping to teach the children the importance of conservation, sustainable practices and growing their own food.
