1. Why is Albex Bleach sold in a black bottle?

Albion Chemical Co. used to own Perfecto Plastics who produced the bottles for Alex Bleach. In order to keep the price as low as possible, Perfecto Plastics would use any coloured raw material they could get at the most affordable price. After shutting down Perfecto Plastics, Albion sourced the most affordable plastic for Albex Bleach, which was the black plastic, thus Albex has been packaged in black plastic from 1976 onwards.

2. New Family Members

The Albex family grew in 2014 when the Albex Thick Bleach and Albex Bleach Foamer were introduced and launched.

In 2017, Albex entered the stain remover category with the Albex Nostain brand that includes the Albex Nostain Fabric Stain Removers, as well as the Albex Nostain Carpet & Upholstery Care.

In 2017, Albex also launched Albex Noflush - a 100% environmentally friendly and biodegradable Toilet water Neutraliser - aimed at helping people save water. 6800LT of water can be saved with every 500ml bottle of Albex Noflush.
