General information

Established in 2006 by physiotherapist Catherine Chambers, the Healthjunction building in Vredehoek houses a leading Physio and Pilates Practice close to Cape Town's City Bowl.

After more than 20 years as a practising physiotherapist, Cathy’s dream was to create a facility which could offer optimal results through an integrated programme of treatment, rehabilitation and long-term maintenance of patients. And so, Healthjunction was born.

Today, Catherine Chambers Physiotherapy & Pilates comprises a passionate and highly skilled team, offering physiotherapy, Pilates and massage, who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and achieving outstanding results.

All practitioners have a strong patient-centred focus, work first to understand the client’s process and then educate them as to their problem and recovery, thus providing the client with a supported solution, alleviating anxiety and aiding their healing. This “case management” role also encompasses working closely with other medical professionals eg. General Practitioners, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Psychologists and Podiatrists, in order to have an integrated and consistent approach to each client.
