General information
Yabonga provides psychosocial support to families, i.e. adults, children and youth infected with or affected by HIV in 8 township communities in Cape Town.
Support centres at local health clinics raise awareness, offer counselling and information to come to terms with one HIV positive status and disclosure. Our programs offer holistic care with the emphasis on physical and mental health, including self-awareness.
Staff members are recruited from our clients and receive training in a range of qualifications in HIV care and counselling.
