General information
Since 1983, we have built homes for people across South Africa and now in Namibia. We’ve also built schools, emergency centres, shopping malls, office blocks and warehouses to improve lifestyles and grow businesses.
We’ve constructed roads and structures for municipalities, developers, farmers, film studios and golf estates. We did the taxiways and runways at OR Tambo, Cape Town and East London airports and supplied the infrastructure for five wind farms.
Today the Power Group operates across Southern Africa from regional offices in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Centurion and Swakopmund (Namibia). We are a level two B-BBEE contributor; ISO 9001 certified with a CIDB 9CE, GB and SB Grading – the highest grading available in South Africa.
As one of South Africa’s largest privately-owned construction companies, with a 30% staff ownership, the Power Group is geared to contribute towards South Africa’s vision of employment, black economic empowerment and housing. The company employs up to three generations of staff – which is a confirmation of our “People First” culture which promotes respect, recognition, just reward and an encouraging hand.
