Shikwaru Lodge offers an outdoor experience beyond comparison. A mere two hours drive from Gauteng, the lodge is situated 28km south of Mokopane in the Limpopo province of South Africa and acts as the perfect destination for tourists, conferences, weddings, wild life enthusiasts, bird watchers and anglers.
Shikwaru is the Shona name for Pangolin. The farm was named Shikwaru after a Pangolin was seen on the farm. A visit to Shikwaru promises a lasting memory of tranquility, spectacular scenery and a wealth of historical and cultural treasures nearby. The 1200 hectares farm is a malaria-free environment and the land lies in the summer rainfall zone with wet summers and cool dry winters.
