General information
West View College is an independent pre-primary and primary school. It is centrally situated in Wierdapark and feeds all the schools in the surrounding area. The school is governed by West View Methodist Church. Our teaching language is English and all lessons and communication is presented in the English language.
The aim is to foster an awareness and a love for the language through music, literacy, fantacy play and dialogue.
Currently we operate having three devisions namely, a Junior school (Ages 2 to 3 years) a Senior School (ages 4-6 years) and primary (foundation phase) school. We accommodate 140 children and have 20 staff members.
The school terms follow the government school calendar.
School hours are officially 08h00-13h00, but the gates open at 06h45 for the convenience of parents.
An afternoon program is presented from 14h00 until 17:30 included in the monthly fee.
Children staying for aftercare will need extra snack packed separately.
