General information
The course comprises 5 trimesters in which the student has to study 20 engineering subjects and thereafter undergo a 24 months training programme at a government approved industry / mine. The College will assist in the training placements. After the training, two extra GCC subjects will have to be done. Successful candidates will be issued the GCC by the Department of Education. By doing another extra 3 engineering subjects the student can get both the Mechanical and Electrical GCC simultaneously after appropriate experiences.
- Admissions - Grade 12 with minimum 60% with Maths and Science.
- No credits can be given for failed candidate in diploma or degree in engineering studies from other Universities and Colleges.
- Good learner to teacher interaction.
- Syllabus - Examinations - Certificates are by Department of Education.
