General information

Laser Edge Designs has been in the Acrylic fabrication business since the beginning of 2006. Our primary business focus was to manufacture top quality Point of sale displays and Signage. We made use of state-of-the-art Laser cutting technology and other equipment designed specifically for the cutting and fabrication of Acrylic sheeting to give an un-paralleled level of Acrylic product into the South African Point of Sale Industry.

Over the years, we received more and more requests from the odd customer wanting personal items for their homes made from Acrylic, for example trays, boxes, canisters etc. With this growing demand we realised the opportunity and gap in the market for a high end range of acrylic accessories and home-ware décor. We began producing items as per client specifications and quickly gained the reputation as a company known for top quality acrylic fabrication. Our smaller item production grew into full scale acrylic furniture manufacturing.

Before long, we were producing tables, chairs, Storage, Objet de Art and many other hand crafted masterpieces that were being supplied to many of South Africa’s top end decorators, architects and retailers.

In the beginning of 2013, management of Laser Edge Designs began the strategic task of creating a brand that is set to gain worldwide recognition on the global furniture stage. The Acryluso brand was hence born. The name “ACRYLUSO” comes from the words ‘Acrylic’ and ‘Luso’ meaning Luxury. All our products in the Acryluso range are designed in house after many years of development and expertise in the various fields, needed to create a top-quality furniture and décor brand. We are so excited for the launch of our brand and cant wait to share these amazing products with the South African market and the World.
