Germ Africa commenced business in South Africa in 1905 as the marketing division of a major UK company, Germ Oil. Local incorporation in South Africa, as a separate public company followed in 1938.
In the late 1960's the South African company was sold to local management following a take-over of its parent company in the UK. In 1979 it was acquired by current management.
Head office is in Johannesburg with a sales office and manufacturing facility in Durban.
The company’s intention are to provide superior quality and service to our customers, to continue review our product portfolio and stock holding and to provide customers with the benefits that current global research and development can offers.
