General information

Health Air Solutions utilizes a 3 phase approach to ensure that your indoor air quality at levels, as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, are maintained.

PHASE 1: Inspection and Reporting
Inspect HVAC plant room to determine the state of the filters, coils and grids;
Inspect the physical state of machinery as well as the insulation of the plant room;
Open up the ducting to enable our robot to take Video and Photos which will show the condition of the ducting.
The presence of dust, debris, torn insulation and animal droppings causes “dirty ducting”, which is the ideal breeding ground for harmful bacteria, mould and yeast;
Perform a swab test for analysis at an independent Pathology Laboratory to establish
whether bacteria, moulds, fungus and yeasts are present in the ducting;
Submit a written report on the findings.

PHASE 2: Mechanical and Chemical Cleaning
Amani utilizes advanced robotic technology to conduct the air-conditioning duct cleaning process;
Remove and eliminate dust and debris particles using an air-agitation process in
conjunction with powerful vacuums and containment methods;
This process is known as a Microbial Control Cleaning Process which improves the Indoor
Environmental Air Quality (IEAQ) at source. IEAQ refers to the “quality of air and the environment” inside the building;
Once these fine particles have been removed, a chemical decontamination is performed using our specially formulated HVAC chemicals;
These products kill and eliminate all harmful mould, fungi and microorganisms thereby improving the air quality.
A final swab test is performed to ensure the bacteria found in the initial test have been eradicated.
Submit a written report with photos and video showing the ducting before and after the cleaning, as well as the report from Pathology Laboratory from swabs taken after the chemical decontamination program.

PHASE 3: Maintenance
The cleanliness of the HVAC system can only be maintained by ensuring;
Regular cleaning (monthly) and replacement (bi-annually) of the Air-Conditioning filters;
Annual robotic inspection of the HVAC ducting system and bi-annual physical inspection of the plant room coils and filters, to ensure there is no excessive build-up of dust particles; and
The installation of a Dosing Pump, which will dispense the required disinfectant at measured intervals. This will ensure that there is regular disinfecting and decontaminating from the plant room through the ducting to the last diffuser leaving a mild pleasant fragrance throughout the offices.
