Introduction:
Karon is a Professional Consciousness Coach (PCC), a member of ICF and the Xtraordinary Women Business Network. Karon offers personal as well as group coaching focussing on life balance and self-empowerment, and journeying with her clients to uncover their own unique potentials. She inspires expansion and possibility for anybody undergoing life changes on a personal or business level as well as for those who have goals but aren’t sure how to get there. Karon subscribes to the Consciousness Coaching methodology which was developed by Marc Steinberg in Germany over 20 years ago. She is based in Somerset West.
Background:
Karon’s decision to become a coach was a culmination of a childhood desire to teach, an interest in Psychology and self-development and a passion for Yoga and health. After a myriad of different jobs and family commitments; many moves and a career in banking, real estate and mortgage finance, continual searching for mind-body-balance and stress relief led Karon to Yoga. In 2008 she qualified and became a part time yoga teacher. She facilitated Artist Way groups and has actively participated in local monthly group coaching sessions since their inception 8 years ago. She investigated Life Coaching, and Consciousness Coaching© appealed to her because of its holistic yet very practical framework. While walking the Camino De Santiago (https:karonscamino.wordpress.com) she decided to change her priorities and returned to SA, found a phenomenal CC© coach, and completed the Creative Consciousness Master trainings in Johannesburg.
What is Consciousness Coaching®?
A Consciousness Coaching cycle begins with the creation of a powerful coaching agreement with short, medium and/or long term coaching goals that are clear and measurable. Powerful tools are introduced which will lead to renewed motivation and the ability to shift from a negative condition into positive action, any time. The client will learn to act independently of thoughts or feelings and become accountable for his/her actions and decisions. To clear out physical, emotional and mental baggage dissolves areas of ‘stuckness’, and gives the ability to communicate more clearly and directly and provides a more organized and efficient way of working. Consciousness Coaching suits both individuals and groups – group sessions can have a common goal or individual goals – and Coaching sessions are conducted face-to-face or via Skype and take on average between 45-60 minutes. Sessions are followed up with supportive videos and reading material to deepen newly learned concepts.
