All Marina Sea Salt products are still made the original and natural way - 35% of worldwide salt production is still made this way.
Sea water is pumped into shallow evaporation pans - and only the sun and wind evaporate the fresh water out of the pans.
Salt crystals starts to form in the high concentrated salt water. 18 to 24 month later salt are harvested out of the pans and washed with a strong salt solution and then we dry it to get the moisture out and then crushed into coarse medium and fine and superfines granules.
