Set in Kleinmond, Villachad is located in the heart of this beautiful village, tranquilly hugged by the majestic Kogelberg mountains all the way down to its white sandy beaches. Only 30 min’s drive from Hermanus. Quaint restaurants & shops in the harbour and village set the mood for a relaxing and romantic stay at Villachad. An hour’s drive from Cape Town International airport and a golfers paradise with Arabella & Hermanus to add to Kleinmond’s own 9 hole Golf course. Excellent birding, nature walks, wine tours, horse riding, whale watching, shark cage diving, sand boarding, quad biking, fishing & moon gazing!

Kleinmond lies on a lagoon at the small mouth - hence the name meaning 'little river mouth - of the Botriver on a narrow strip of land hugged on the one side by the Palmiet Mountain range and on the other by the Atlantic Ocean. Kleinmond is within easy driving distance from Cape Town, along the scenic coastal road known as R44 or Clarence Drive. Kleinmond is a peaceful little village endowed with some of the coast's most natural beauty. It lies within the UNESCO declared Kogelberg Biosphere, which supports over 1 600 species of fynbos, of which 150 are endemic.
